Who Is Stewart Cink’s Support System? PGA Tour Veteran’s Close Bonds Explored

Stewart Cink claimed a stellar victory at the Insperity Invitational in Texas, carding a birdie on his playoff hole and overcoming the stern challenge posed by World Golf Hall of Fame Member Retief Goosen. This is Cink’s second victory on the Tour, having previously won the title at the Ally Challenge in August 2024.

Cink’s victory was very emotional, especially for his caddie Chris P. Jones. He was in tears when talking about the 51-year-old post-victory. “He’s the best. He is like one of the best humans. Results are awesome, but going to work and liking your job and loving being around who you spend 8 hours a day is huge,” Jones explained why he loves caddying for Cink.

“You’re making me cry.”

Chris P. Jones has been caddying for 24 years.

Jones’ commitment is immeasurable. He was on the course on Monday, walking the course and doing his homework to assist Cink in the best way possible.
