Who Is Joseph Bramlett? PGA Tour Veteran’s Personal Life, Career & More Explored

2 min read

Every year, a bunch of new golfers come to the golf world with one hope: to make a name for themselves. But only a few succeed. And one of those few golfers evidently has to be Joseph Bramlett. Born on April 7, 1988, in Stanford, California, Bramlett’s journey to success has been nothing short of remarkable. As a young golfer, he qualified for the 2002 US Amateur at the tender age of 14, making him the youngest player to make it to the prestigious tournament at that time.

This early success was just the beginning of Bramlett’s impressive career. He went on to major in communication at Stanford, where he helped the men’s golf team win the 2007 NCAA Division I Championship. Bramlett’s determination and perseverance have been key to his success. In 2010, he became the first African American to earn his PGA Tour card through Q-school in 25 years, a feat that had not been accomplished since Adrian Stills. This achievement is a testament to Bramlett’s hard work and dedication to the sport.
