One day ago, on May 2, the Detroit Lions tight end and fullback Brock Wright made his decision final about his future life in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. He proposed to his girlfriend (now fiancée), Carley Johnston, by sharing a special moment while giving her a beautiful ring. Brock asked her to be his for her whole life, and Carley couldn’t hold back her tears when Wright bent his knee to offer a ring.
Carley Johnston sent a touching message to the Lions TE after the moment on Instagram. She wrote, “I must’ve done something right in life to deserve a love like this. Brock Joseph, it is such a blessing to love and be loved by you!! I cannot wait to be your wife!!!!!!! spending my life loving you will be the greatest thing I ever do .”
For those who don’t know, Johnston is an in-arena host and NHL reporter for the Detroit Red Wings. She has been with the Red Wings since 2017 and has also worked with WDIV as an associate producer and news intern.
