As they say, no team is unbeatable. And the Chicago Sky just proved it. On Saturday, they shocked the league by taking down the best-in-the-business Minnesota Lynx. No one saw it coming. Angel Reese kept her double-double streak alive, Kamilla Cardoso dominated the paint like it was her personal playground, and Ariel Atkins brought the scoring punch they needed to make the impossible happen. But on Monday, the Lynx came back mad. And just when it seemed like the Sky might do it again, well… they hit their biggest roadblock yet.
Right before halftime, Atkins – who had just 2 points in 15 minutes, unlike her explosive Saturday showing – drove hard toward the wing, ball in hand, with Courtney Williams on her. As she jumped, something didn’t look right. She winced and moments later, was heading to the locker room. And then came the news: Ariel Atkins (leg) wouldn’t return. That’s a tough blow for the Sky, especially with their guard depth already stretched thin.
Status alert: Ariel Atkins (leg) won’t return Monday.

By the end of the third, the Lynx are holding a 68–63 lead. Can Chicago pull this off?
