Tiger Woods is absent. We are sure the first thought in your head after reading that is: “from the PGA Tour? Everyone knows that!” However, we are not talking about that. We are talking about Charlie Woods and his first win–and the GOAT’s glaring absence from the scene despite Jr. Woods’s honor for him. Charlie Woods has officially claimed a championship title on the top junior golf circuit in the United States. The rising junior at the Benjamin School achieved his first AJGA win on Wednesday at the Team TaylorMade Invitational held at Streamsong Resort’s Black Course. Amidst the happy moment, the young golfer uniquely honored his father.

During this monumental feat, the young star honored his father by wearing Tiger Woods’s brand apparel: Sun Day Red.

#HELLO WORLD, CHARLIE — Charlie Woods has won the TaylorMade Invitational, securing his 1st AJGA win at Streamsong Resort. Woods beat some of the top Juniors in the country on route to the win! A major moment for his career and progress. Let’s goooooooo! @NUCLRGOLF pic.twitter.com/2FoQsJ9YFL
