“Where there’s life, there’s hope.” This was the mantra for Quinten Post. After straining his calf during a personal workout with the Blazers, his dreams seemed to be slipping away. A spot in the G League felt like his only shot. But little did he know, he would go on to turn his two-way deal into a permanent spot with the Warriors. However, the road wasn’t an easy one.

Post’s move to the Golden State Warriors came with its fair share of challenges. It was hard for him to believe he was truly there, along with Stephen Curry. Then there was the added pressure of working with a championship head coach like Steve Kerr. But Kerr was patient and understanding.

“I’m really grateful for how much leniency he’s shown me, especially at the start,” Post said about Kerr. “Things weren’t easy and it came with a lot of hardship,” the recently turned 25-year-old added. “He let me play through that and now I feel like I’m part of the team. I know what is expected from me and I know I have some type of value for this team. It’s been a roller coaster but it’s also been really cool.”

This is a developing story…
