Things Have Been Shameful for New York Knicks as Karl-Anthony Towns & Jalen Brunson Face Penalty in Game 3

The Knicks came into Game 3 needing a response. What did they give us? A meltdown in slow motion. It was all square early, and then the Pacers flipped the switch, going on a 12-4 run that stretched from the end of the first into the second. Tie game turned into a 38-30 Indiana lead before most Knicks fans finished their first angry beverage. By halftime? It was 58-45, Pacers in full control, and the Knicks looking like they forgot there’s no “next time” in the playoffs.

Karl-Anthony Towns? He spent more time pacing by the scorer’s table than making an impact on the floor. Three fouls by halftime had him out of rhythm. Same story for Jalen Brunson, who picked up his third foul by the end of the second quarter. Not ideal when your two franchise cornerstones are a few whistles away from ejection in the biggest games of their careers.

ongoing story…
