The WBA lightweight champion took to ‘X’ and wrote, “Fighting for my life..” sending his fans down a spiral. While the exact message behind the post is still up in the air, it can have something with his mental health. During the official press conference for his upcoming March 1 fight, Davis claimed how boxing is affecting his mental health. He contended that the sport is getting too much to handle and he wants to give it all up for the sake of his family.

Or, it might even be as simple as him claiming that he is serious about the bout, since soon after he was back to his usual self. “4 weeks away ,” read his last post on X. So, if we are to believe him, this is going to be one of his last fights, and he wants to fight like there is no tomorrow.
