Taylor Swift made her first-ever appearance on the New Heights podcast, sitting beside her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce, and his brother, Jason Kelce, for a fun and revealing episode. The conversation gave fans a rare glimpse into their relationship, with Swift joking about how the podcast played a role in bringing them together.
“This podcast got me a boyfriend ever since Travis decided to use it as a personal dating app two years ago.” Swift said, referencing Travis’ now-famous attempt to give her a friendship bracelet with his number during her Eras Tour stop in Kansas City. As the conversation shifted to football, Swift, now a familiar face at Chiefs games, admitted just how much she had to learn about the sport.
In a hilarious moment, she confessed that she used to think NFL games worked very differently. “I thought it was like Jared Goff is here, and Josh Allen is here. And then they both blow a whistle and then they go at each other,” she said, realizing how wrong she had been. Hilarious!

As Travis and Jason dove into football talk, Swift chimed in with her own progress. “I think I continue to learn… somebody else that even knows what those coverages are,” she said, before joking about her analyst potential. “I’m not ready to be an analyst right now, but give me 16 months.”
Between her playful football takes and her determination to master the game, Swift proved once again why she’s become one of the NFL’s most entertaining new fans. And maybe even a future analyst.
This is a developing story. Stay tuned…
