Stuck in Long-Distance, Ayesha Curry Reveals Stephen Curry’s Loving Gesture Amid Unfortunate Warriors Injury Update

4 min read

Ayesha Curry didn’t just celebrate her 36th birthday—she did it in true VIP fashion. While Stephen Curry and the Warriors were on the road in Miami, she enjoyed a yacht trip, soaking in the ocean breeze and indulging in a great meal. But the night didn’t end there. Once Steph wrapped up his team duties, he linked up with Ayesha for a night out at one of Miami’s top dance clubs.

Joining them were Draymond Green and his wife, Hazel Renee, and from the looks of a viral video, they were living it up. Steph and Ayesha’s love story goes way back to their teenage years in North Carolina, and even after more than a decade of marriage, he still finds ways to make her feel special. On Sunday, he made sure her birthday wasn’t just another day. Later, he hit Instagram with a heartfelt message, sharing a tribute to the woman he’s called his wife since 2011 and the mother of their four kids.

But he didn’t stop there. As Ayesha continues to enjoy her trip without her husband who’s in Miami fulfilling his team duties, he made sure Ayesha felt the love in every way. He sent her a bouquet, as revealed by Ayesha in her latest post, a simple yet meaningful gesture that spoke volumes. After all these years, it’s the little things—thoughtful moments like this—that show their bond is as strong as ever.

Meanwhile, in Miami, the Warriors are gearing up for a major showdown against the Heat—but they’ll have to do it without their superstar. Jimmy Butler’s highly anticipated return to Miami was already the main storyline, but now the Warriors have another hurdle to clear—taking on the Heat without Stephen Curry. The four-time champ is still recovering from a pelvic contusion, and despite some early signs of progress, Steve Kerr admitted that his movement just wasn’t where it needed to be. Rather than pushing it and risking a setback, Golden State is taking the cautious route, especially with a grueling stretch of games coming up.

The Warriors superstar putting together another impressive season, filling the stat sheet with 24.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 6.0 assists per game. Over 60 appearances, he’s also swiping 1.1 steals a night while shooting efficiently—knocking down 44.7% of his shots from the field and 39.4% from deep.

But while he’s making an impact on the court, Ayesha Curry is creating one off it—this time in a space close to her heart.

Ayesha Curry takes up another responsibility

Ayesha Curry is bringing her lifelong love for organic gardening to center stage as the first-ever Chief Gardening Officer at Back to the Roots. After more than a decade as an investor and board member, she’s now taking on a bigger role—helping families and schools grow their own food.

For Ayesha, it’s always been about more than just plants. She sees gardening as a way to connect with food from the very beginning—planting a seed, nurturing it, and turning it into something nourishing. That’s why she’s diving in deeper, making organic gardening more fun, accessible, and stress-free for everyone.

But her impact doesn’t stop in the backyard. As an entrepreneur, restaurateur, and best-selling author, she’ll now play a major role in shaping the company’s brand, marketing, and product development. One of her biggest goals? Getting kids excited about growing their own food. She’s teaming up with schools to inspire a new generation of gardeners, proving that fresh ingredients don’t have to come from a grocery store.

Beyond that, Ayesha is pushing for a more sustainable future in gardening. She’s advocating for peat-free, organic, and plastic-free practices to make sure the industry moves in a greener direction.

Back to the Roots co-founders Alejandro Velez and Nikhil Arora couldn’t be happier. They believe Ayesha’s passion for food, family, and gardening is the perfect match for their mission—getting more people to experience the joy of growing their own food.
