Steelers Send Final Message to Aaron Rodgers Before NFL Draft Amid Strong Shedeur Sanders Rumors

3 min read

“I think Aaron wants someone to roll out the red carpet for him. That is what he is looking for. I’m not sure if he would consider the Steelers doing that right now.” That’s what Aaron Rodgers‘s former teammate, Davante Adams, said about his bestie’s future plans. We all know what’s been happening for the past month and a half. The love story between Mike Tomlin‘s Steelers and Rodgers is still going on.

Around the NFL’s annual meeting in Palm Beach, the HC also told the reports that the Steelers are “extremely interested” in signing and waiting for the 41-year-old QB. Many veterans also feel that Tomlin is breaking his character for which is often known as a quick decision-maker. Now it looks like the situation is heating up as the drafts are also around the corner. With one day left before taking off to the city of Green Bay, the Steelers’ GM Omar Khan has sent a final message to Aaron Rodgers.

According to Blitzburgh, Omar Khan, in this year’s quarterback class in the draft: “I think it’s a good quarterback class. I really do.” This update came after Omar Khan and Tomlin had a press conference on Tuesday. Before anyone asks any questions, Khan started a presser by saying, “First, I know you guys are going to ask about the quarterback position, and I’ll just tell you guys the same thing. We discussed in Palm Beach a couple of weeks ago, we went to [training camp] with four quarterbacks.”

However, he also added, “Right now, we have two on the roster, and all options are on the table in how we acquire those last two. I assure you, we’ll have four when we get to Latrobe.” Tomlin has already said that he has a four-QB plan. But since last month, he could not complete the quota of four while Aaron Rodgers’s issue was on the table. But everybody must be thinking, ‘Why is Aaron not responding with a firm answer? ’

Well, the answer to this question rests in the NFL drafts, as there is a high chance Rodgers must be waiting for the draft. During and after the drafts, veteran QBs get a lot of opinions. Currently, Rodgers has only one option, and that is Tomlin’s Steelers. Like Mike Florio of NBC Sports also said, we can’t deny the possibility that A-Rod could be waiting for the draft in 2025 and the right opportunity to jump in any city out of 32.

But while Rodgers is not responding firmly to the Steelers, there are also rumors that the team is going to sign Shedeur Sanders. Wanna know what the rumor is? Stay tuned, this is a developing story.
