Simone Biles Takes Matter In Own Hands As She Makes Bold Move Over Plastic Surgery Rumors

4 min read

Simone Biles hasn’t had the smoothest month. After former teammate MyKayla Skinner accused her of bullying fellow gymnasts during competitions, including the 2024 Paris Olympics, backlash quickly followed. To escape the mounting criticism, Biles deactivated her X account and retreated to a peaceful vacation in Belize — her second home. But even there, trouble wasn’t far behind…

In the very early days of July, Simone Biles shared her pictures in a lime green swimsuit that set the internet talking and not in a good way. The fans started speculating that she had undergone plastic surgery. Dana Omari, who runs a popular plastic surgery-themed account, reposted one of the photos on social media, writing, “Simone Biles with the b- aug!! She looks incredible.” But the Olympian had not entertained these rumors, and her latest step speaks that she does not want to either. Look at what she did –

Captioned “gone to belize ” – Simone Biles shared more pictures from her vacation in her second home on July 7, 2025. The post featured a couple of photos of the gymnast wearing a Fendi Fashion swimsuit, as well as a photo with her husband, Jonathan Owens. But what grabbed the attention of the fans was the comment section. While it had comments from her former team, Zoe Miller, writing, “” or husband Owens saying, “You so fine baby wheeewww ” it rarely had a comment from the fans. Why?

Because the most decorated gymnast of all time had limited the comments on the post. What used to be the place where fans would send their message to Biles now reads, Comments on this post have been limited in this post. This comes after she was reported to have undergone plastic surgery the last time she uploaded a picture in a swimsuit. However, this is not the first time Simone Biles has turned off her comment section.

While Biles hasn’t said anything about the rumors, limiting comments might be her way of steering clear of the chatter. It’s hard to say for sure, but the timing suggests she doesn’t want to deal with the plastic surgery talk or online drama. That being said, Biles has done things to her face before.

Simone Biles has not been under the knife, but needles

During the 2024 Paris Olympics, Simone Biles shared a candid and relatable moment in a GRWM (Get Ready With Me) TikTok video. With a laugh, she told fans she had a funny story to share — one that involved trying something new for her birthday. “So, for my 27th birthday, I got Botox, like, baby Botox, just right here in my T-zone, and I did not like it. So I haven’t got it again, and mind you that was back in March.” She celebrates her birthday on March 14.

Also, Botox is administered through small, fine-needle injections directly into the muscles beneath the skin. These injections deliver tiny amounts of botulinum toxin to temporarily relax muscle activity and reduce wrinkles or fine lines. But it didn’t work out so very good for the gymnast. She went on to describe how, during practice, one of her eyebrows would suddenly lift on its own — something her teammates couldn’t help but notice. It would stay raised for nearly 20 seconds, and she had no control over it.

It would randomly do that!” she recalled, before demonstrating that now she can do all the facial expressions, pointedly crinkling her forehead. “Not doing that again,” she declared of the cosmetic procedure.
