This year, Shedeur Sanders‘s draft snub has been the talk of the town. Several analysts projected him as a first-round pick. Some even claimed him to be a first overall pick. But things changed. No team was interested in him on the first day. The situation worsened on the second day as he remained undrafted. Finally, the Browns drafted him in the 5th round (144th overall). But former Seahawks executive Scot McCloughan is openly endorsing him to be the best QB from the draft. Even his snub is getting parallel with NFL legend Rob Gronkowski.
During the May 19 episode of Sundae Conversation, comedian Caleb Pressley cracked many hilarious jokes. However, most fans claimed the best one to be the draft joke. Pressley first said, “Is this true or false? When you were coming out of college, you had an injury your senior year. And that’s why people say you slid in the draft a little bit.” Gronk agreed and replied, “Yes.”

Yet Pressley’s comedic timing was spot-on when he added, “They didn’t draft you because you’re back.” When the Patriots legend replied, “True,” Pressley quickly followed up with, “Is that what happened to Shedeur Sanders?” Gronk, however, downplayed the moment and simply said, “No answer.” The exchange was hilarious. Most analysts believe NFL franchises may have passed on Shedeur Sanders due to his perceived overconfidence and the polarizing presence of his father, Deion Sanders.
Gronkowski’s situation was entirely different. The Patriots viewed him as one of their top overall picks in the draft, despite a serious back injury that complicated his future. At one point, he even considered retiring early, knowing his father had secured a $4 million insurance policy. He calculated he could receive $160,000 annually from the policy—but ultimately, he wanted to earn his own money. That desire fueled his determination, even though he slipped to the second round (42nd overall) in the 2010 NFL Draft.
That’s where he met head coach Bill Belichick. Gronk went on to retire in 2022 as a four-time Super Bowl champion. Now, while Belichick is making headlines for his new relationship with Jordan Hudson, fans are curious to hear what Gronk thinks about it.
Rob Gronkowski comments on Bill Belichick’s GF
During his show, Pressley suddenly remarked, “Bills picked up a 24-year-old.” Gronk replied with a doubt, “Buffalo Bills?” But the comedian cut him abruptly, saying, “No,” and asked, “Have you met coach Belichick’s girlfriend?” Rob Gronkowski burst out laughing at the comedian’s antics. But Pressley didn’t stop, asking him, “The crayon you wrote your book with, did you take that out of her backpack?” Boy, oh boy!
It was enough to amuse the Patriots legend, who said, “No, I never met her.” Undoubtedly, the coach and his girlfriend have become the talk of the town. Overall, the tight end isn’t concerned about the head coach’s personal life. He believes it’s getting more attention than it deserves.
He called it a distraction for the coach and said he wanted to see him focus on winning games. Speaking at the YouTube Brandcast upfront on May 14, Gronk said, “I’m going to be tuning in, and I want to see him win some games. Because if he wins some games, he’ll shut everyone up. And that would be fun to see, man.” Interest in the couple has surged, especially after the CBS interview. Many believe that she has taken over the HC’s brand. Hope he puts these rumors to rest soon.
