Just past few months ago, Davante Adams, after a heroic stint with the Green Bay Packers, found himself stuck in a tumultuous 2024 season that was literally split between the Raiders and the Jets. The man still managed to rack up 85 receptions for 1,063 yards and eight touchdowns. But that Packers’ vibe? Yeah, it was still missing. Well, the Jets released the veteran wide receiver, and he started to navigate the whirlwind of NFL free agency.
Right after that went down, Adams seized the opportunity and signed a two-year, $46 million deal with the Los Angeles Rams. And let’s just say the guy’s now fully in a relaxed mood, and spending his off-season with his family. And we’re talking about spending time with his family at his home on Easter Sunday.
The kicker? Well, Adams’ Easter Sunday kinda felt less like playful and silly, more like…Creepy. On Sunday, Adams took to his official Instagram handle and shared a story of his daughter playing with one of those cute Easter Bunny gift buckets. Now, imagine walking into the kitchen and seeing your kid silently swinging a little white bunny like it’s auditioning for a horror movie.
Yeah, that’s exactly what Davante Adams walked into. His daughter was just sitting there, pendulum-ing this weird toy back and forth—with zero expression. No wonder the man posted it calling it “Low keey creepy lol.”. Just like that. But one thing’s for sure: creepy or not, Adams is out there spending some quality time with his family in this NFL offseason.
Just last month, the 32-year-old wideout was all smiles, strolling through Disneyland with his wife, Devanne Villarreal, and their three little ones, soaking in the magic of their first family trip since their son’s birth last August. Adams shared pictures of his girls, decked out in pink jackets and bunny clips, the baby boy nestled in Devanne’s arms, and Adams looked like a man who’d momentarily traded playbooks for princesses.
Last year, the couple welcomed their son in August. Though the couple maintained privacy for their newborn, Adams’ wife shared a glimpse of their son via a photoshoot in late November. “Feeling extra thankful this year for my beautiful family and the sweetest 3 months with our newest blessing,” she captioned her IG post. In the meantime, Adams is reportedly away from the football world, and kicking it back home for a bit.
It’s time for Davante Adams’ homecoming
After highs and lows in the 2024 season with the Raiders and the Jets, Adams finally signed a two-year $46 million deal with the Rams. And let’s just say the Rams head coach Sean McVay went all out, sending him narrated highlight reels and constant messages—even while Adams was vacationing in Japan. “I thought he was out there too just based off of I was talking to him more than I was talking to my wife,” Adams joked.
Fast forward and after signing a deal with the Los Angeles team and vacationing in Japan, Adams has now returned to his hometown, Palo Alto, California. Yeah, Palo Alto where Adams led his High School to a CIF state championship.

As a senior, the guy was a two-way starter for his team. In his senior year, the WR had 64 receptions for 1,094 yards and 12 touchdowns, and as a cornerback on defense he totaled 44 tackles, including two for a loss, two forced fumbles, an interception, and four passes defended. But if you’re thinking that he was just limited to the football, think again.
Adams was a two-star recruit in basketball as well. On top of that, he was putting up a cool 9 points, 5.8 boards, and 5.4 dimes a game as a senior—on the basketball court. Yup, hoops was on the table too. But then he chose football as his primary sport, went to Fresno State, and yeah… safe to say that decision aged like fine wine.
