Big moves are happening in the NFL, and the Raiders are making some noise. Eric Stokes, the Packers’ former first-round cornerback, is heading to Las Vegas on a one-year, $4 million deal. Stokes, who’s had his ups and downs with injuries, could be a sneaky-good addition to the Raiders’ secondary if he stays healthy. And let’s be real, the Raiders need all the help they can get on defense.

But that’s not all. Pete Carroll and GM Joh Spytek are cooking something fresh in Vegas. With Carroll’s defensive mind, Tom Brady‘s little guidance, and Spytek’s eye for talent, this new regime looks like a vibe. Oh, and guess what?

The NFL just handed the Raiders two extra sixth-round picks (Nos. 213 and 215) in the 2025 draft as part of the compensatory picks. Sure, sixth-rounders aren’t exactly lottery tickets. But they’re tradeable assets, and who doesn’t love a little draft-day wheeling and dealing?
