Who said you can’t have fun if your journey ends early in a tennis event? Just look at Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa. One amazing, entertaining couple. The Greek ATP pro and Spanish WTA star seem to enjoy their time in Florida, despite facing setbacks in their respective campaigns. Tsitsipas was ousted from the Miami Open last week after losing in R32 against Sebastian Korda. On the other hand, Badosa met an unfortunate fate as she was forced out due to a lower back injury ahead of the fourth round. But guess what? The two lovebirds know how to go past negativity and embrace positive vibes. And what could be better than having a pizza party on a romantic drive together?
On X, a fan account named @OnlyTsitsidosa posted two brief clips, on March 26. They showed Tsitsipas and Badosa having a ride in an Aston Martin. For the uninitiated, the ATP pro has got a longtime partnership with the luxurious London-based automaker. It keeps offering the former World No.3 lucrative rides in its various models.
In multiple instances, he’s been spotted driving an Aston Martin car, with Badosa by his side. Remember how they were spotted enjoying a ride through the streets of Monaco last September? Even in 2023, the two were seen flaunting an expensive model from the company in Monaco.
Interestingly, the latest incident focuses more on their pizza love than the ride itself. They also didn’t mind sharing their slices with fellow drivers! As one can see in the clips, the Spaniard offers a cheesy slice to a person driving in another car, exclaiming, “enjoyyyyyy”. Not to mention the recipient was extremely delighted to get this pizza treat. After all, who doesn’t like special treatment!

As for the pizza obsession, the two are known for it. So much so that an Italian restaurant once treated them with a special surprise.
When tennis couple Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa received customized pizzas
During their off-season period last December, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa went to an Italian restaurant for a dinner date. As they were enjoying their quality time, the chefs surprised them with two special pizzas. As it turned out, the full-sized pizzas had Tsitsipas’ and Badosa’s names written on them. Later, the ATP pro even shared this moment on his IG story. There was a clip as well from their time at the restaurant where a chef was seen impressing them, and other customers, with his hand skills. Then there was another pizza-instance from last season.
Back in March, during the Miami Open, Tsitsipas crashed out in the second round. During his momentary break from tennis, the Greek pro shared a hilarious observation about pizzas. On X, he wrote, “We put round pizza in a square box and eat it in triangles.”
Coming back to on-court action, this season has been a hit and miss for both the couple. The initial events in Australia, Rotterdam, and Doha didn’t prove fruitful for Tsitsipas. However, the ATP pro bounced back strongly, earlier this month, at the Dubai Tennis Championships. After losing his previous 11 ATP 500 finals, he succeeded in lifting the trophy in Dubai, with a score line of 6-3, 6-3 against Felix Auger-Aliassime.
Following his big win, Tsitsipas said, “It’s a big relief that I’m able to hold that trophy after the third attempt. It’s something that I had in the back of my mind, and I’m happy to say I accomplished it.” reported Reuters on March 2.
On the other hand, GF Badosa started the 2025 season on a high note at the Australian Open. She accomplished a huge feat in her career, back in January, when she defeated World No.3 Coco Gauff to secure a spot in her maiden Slam semifinal. Unfortunately, she lost to her bestie and World No.1 Aryna Sabalenka and missed out on reaching the title clash. In recent events (Abu Dhabi, Doha, and Dubai), the Spanish WTA pro has failed to impress in a similar fashion.
Her lower back injury has also played a big role in her underwhelming performance, forcing her to pull out before key matches. Few weeks ago, she had to withdraw from the QF round of Merida Open. Then she also canceled her Indian Wells campaign. In Miami, too, the fate remained unchanged.
Before her fourth round encounter against Philippines’ Alexandra Eala, she withdrew her name. Later, Badosa wrote a heartfelt message on Instagram. “It’s very sad and tough to deal with the pain, and especially stopping and coming back every single time. Now it’s time to go through the recovery process again… Hopefully I will be back soon”
