According to the X post shared by Starcade Media, the couple were greeted with a “rousing ovation” from Red Raiders fans at United Supermarkets Arena. Mahomes is a proud Texas Tech alumnus, and he shared a glimpse of his outfit on Instagram. It is a red and black jacket with the Texas Tech University logo that highlights his connection to the Red Raiders. It was a historic spell with them that pushed him on his way to becoming an NFL superstar. The QB and his dear wife once again embraced their alma mater with their recent presence.
It must have been a relief to them to get a warm reception after a recent scare. Well, a mildly funny scare where guests at their eldest daughter’s birthday party made their kids cry. Not just any guests, ones that were specially invited and in costume… that of the kids’ favorite cartoons.
