Looks like this month really belongs to Pat McAfee! During the 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay, the former punter grabbed headlines after offering coach Mike McCarthy what looked like a vape. Sure, it stirred up some chatter, but nothing major came of it, at least in the NFL. The NBA, though? They weren’t as chill. They actually banned him from watching games. Now you must be wondering how that happened? Let’s break it down.
We are aware of the fact that Pat McAfee also breaks down NBA games in his podcast show, besides giving his analytical lens to the NFL. But this time, the former punter was banned from watching the recent Milwaukee Bucks vs Indiana Pacers game on April 29, 2025. Why?
Well, the reason behind it has nothing to do with his NFL’s drama. But it’s due to local broadcast restrictions. On Tuesday, McAfee shared an image of his TV, which clearly showed a blacked-out NBA playoff game between the Bucks and Pacers. Expressing his frustration, the former NFLer wrote: “This does feel like bullsh–t.”

Now, there wasn’t much he could do to shake off the frustration. But there’s one place he can let that anger out – right in the ring. Yep, McAfee’s stepping back into the fight game, and this time, it’s personal. He’s going up against Gunther after that wild choking incident.
This is a developing story…..
