Will Conor McGregor ever return to the combat sports world? The former UFC champion may be making bold claims about his upcoming fights. But, he puts great efforts into actual training and preparation seems dwindling rather than improving. His most recent escapade has once again raised concerns among curious MMA fans, who have already passed their verdict that Conor McGregor might never return to fighting.

After spitting in the face of a fan who mentioned Khabib Nurmagomedov’s name in front of him, the former dual-weight champion spent his evening with popular DJ Diplo. ‘Mystic Mac’ in an attempt to promote ‘Proper 12’ whiskey, gave Diplo a bottle of his beverage to have a sip, and as Diplo took a sip out of the bottle, McGregor captured the entire interaction on his Instagram.

Using his Instagram handle, ‘Mystic Mac,’ McGregor shared a lengthy message in which he directly attacked everyone who circulates fake substandard products.

“Everything else is fake and greed and God despises both. PR is fake. An act of virtue signaling. I never play ball. If you are interested and smart you can delve into it your self and find out, otherwise you are a blind sheep in a scam unbeknownst to you, and your opinion is of no value. I care for none of it! I MAKE GREATNESS AND THE WORLD KNOWS IT AND I AM LOVED FOR IT! That’s it,” said McGregor.

Conor McGregor has been in the United States since promoting BKFC Knucklemania 5 in Philadelphia. After that, he attended various NBA games, interacting with fans and athletes. But amidst all of these activities, one thing is noticeably missing: his training.

Fans are increasingly sure that McGregor may never return.

Will you be surprised to know there was a time when McGregor was a sober fighter who practically hated parties? In his early days, the former champ asserted partying is a weakness of the soul. Fast forward to 2025, and Conor McGregor is known for it. A curious fan reminded him of his own words,” The party is a weakness for the soul.”

The world might witness GTA VI in two years, but will they witness Conor McGregor fighting at UFC ever again? Well, a fan appears to have concluded McGregor’s career, “One thing I can say with certainty … we’re def getting GTA6 before a Connor UFC fight.” Furthermore, another fan has come forward to explain his thoughts, “He’s never fighting again…”

Another fan voiced the same concern, “He’s 100% never fighting again.” Moreover, another fan asked a rather unsettling question, “This before or after spitting in someone’s face.” McGregor was spotted on a fan’s face because he was fascinated with Khabib Nurmagomedov, saying, “I spit in your face, and what did you do? Nothing.” There was no further escalation, but one thing is certain: the former UFC champion will face heavy backlash for this.

Last but not least, a social media user appears to witness a fight between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz, “I know you wanted to grab the mic and call out Nate”

It appears Conor McGregor remains in his vacation mood after fighting for his reputation. Well, the former dual-weight champion might not be returning to the combat sports world this year as well. Regardless, what’s your take on McGregor’s antics? State your thoughts in the comments below.
