In a TikTok clip, she smiles in disbelief, does a mini victory dance, and even fist-bumps him. But among all this romance, there is something that might haunt the former LSU gymnast – her past. Why? Olivina Dunne was once again in a talk with PEOPLE magazine, and this time around things took a little dark turn when she talked of her relationship with her boyfriend and MLB pitcher, Paul Skenes. Now don’t be scared, everything is great between the two, but it is what she has had before. “We don’t restrict each other from doing things,” she shared, explaining, “I’ve been in relationships in the past like that — where it’s almost like you have a leash on you, you can’t do anything.” Dunne’s past relationship did not have a good ending.
In 2022, she mentioned on the BFFs podcast that she had a boyfriend who couldn’t handle her rising fame, and they broke up shortly after.
“But he has a job to do and I have a job to do — I know that’s so important for two young kids in a relationship to realize,” The former LSU gymnast told PEOPLE. “So yeah, we just have a good time and it’s a two-way road.“
