It looks like Aaron Rodgers’ dream of playing as a Viking won’t happen after all. After multiple reports around the league stating that the Vikings are not interested in pursuing Rodgers anymore. ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler has since revealed the real reason why the Vikings gave up on Rodgers. Speaking on the Rich Eisen Show, Fowler stated, “The line I kept hearing was we’re committed to J.J. McCarthy’s development. So because of that, they knew he’s going to be the franchise quarterback.”
