“I hope they don’t f— you like they f—-d us”. Dan Hurley’s warning to Baylor players in reference to NCAA officials was a warning to college basketball as a whole. It highlighted the fact that a case had been made against the referees for allegedly displaying bias and that other teams could see it happen in the coming days, too. Sure enough, the recent matchup between the Florida Gators and the Maryland Terrapins saw fans criticizing Todd Golden for not hitting back hard at some alleged unjustifiable calls against his team. Now, this issue has even reached the women’s basketball March Madness series, with Kim Mulkey’s squad allegedly facing the brunt end of the stick.

The ongoing matchup between the LSU Tigers and NC State Wolfpack had the former leading by 54-51 as 1:59 minutes remained in the 3rd quarter. Over the course of the game, reports started to emerge of the referees allegedly making foul calls only against the Tigers. Well, fans who are watching the game live did not choose to take the ‘unjust’ alleged bias in stride.

One social media user highlighted his criticism by writing, “I’m sorry but these Refs ARE F—–G @LSUwbkb right up. No way they spent the entire 2nd quarter only calling fouls one way. Like that’s mind blowing #NCAAWBB #MarchMadness2025 #GeauxTigers”.

This is a developing story.
