Tensions boiled over late in Game 3 between the Pacers and Knicks, and even TNT’s Stan Van Gundy couldn’t hold back. As Tyrese Haliburton drew a foul with under 10 seconds to go, Van Gundy blurted, “That’s a foul in the 2025 playoffs?!” His disbelief echoed. Reggie Miller added, “Bridges can’t believe it as well,” as even the Knicks looked unsure about the whistle.
The foul on Mikal Bridges gave Haliburton a shot at tying things up, and while he nailed both free throws, the Knicks held on for a 106-100 win, cutting Indiana’s series lead to 2-1. It marked the third time this postseason New York has erased a 20-point deficit on the road — but the closing minutes weren’t without controversy. On live TV, the referees found themselves front and center, for all the wrong reasons.
