Well, the question wasn’t new to her. But the host, Hoda Kotb, asked her the question, hoping to get something new as the answer. After all, in Paris, Simone was the oldest female gymnast in Team USA’s contingent. In fact, her victory in the women’s gymnastics all-around final made her one of the oldest in history to achieve that. So, expectedly, the question was ready for her. And Simone had her answer ready.
In her conversation with Hoda, Simone said that she and her husband, Jonathan Owens, have plans. “He would have had them yesterday if we could have,” she added. But it is all about a matter of the future. “Obviously we both have goals we want to achieve before we start a family, so yes that def in our future,” Simone concluded the discussion there. Yes, per her, she still has time to embrace motherhood. But that doesn’t mean she will not show similar emotions in situations. Simone might not hold herself back from adoring kids if she gets a chance. Certain evidence has come recently, proving this fact.
