She indulged us all with a story about the Chiefs‘ legend that occurred way back in his childhood.

On January 29, she uploaded a video on Instagram going down memory lane. She went to a baseball park where Patrick used to play baseball. And once lost his James Avery Cross necklace while playing. For those of you who don’t know, Patrick Mahomes was an excellent baseball player growing up. His father, Pat Mahomes, an MLB player, taught him baseball. And boy, he was good at it. Had he not become a footballer, the man might have broken MLB records. Who knows?

He revealed his love for baseball in April last year when he was on the cover of TIME 100 magazine, shocking everyone by saying baseball was his first love. His father and World series champion Alex Rodriguez must be happy he didn’t listen to him once and followed his heart. It was in his life when he had to choose between football and baseball.

Surprise! Surprise! The name of the baseball park is Golden Road Park. Ring a bell! The name of the QB’s 3rd daughter is Golden Raye Mahomes. Guess he is keeping his memories close to him by tying them into the people closest to him. That’s fantastic.

Stay tuned. This is a developing story.
