Mike Tyson’s Daughter Pens Two-Word Warning as Dad Makes Up With Old Rival

3 min read

“What am I supposed to do? I got children to raise,” stated Mike Tyson at the time, showing no remorse in the aftermath of the controversial ‘Bite Fight’ with Evander Holyfield. Nearly 30 years have passed, and in that time, Iron Mike has raised six beautiful children. That journey has softened his demeanor and widened his perspective, replacing any defiance with a quieter, more fitting feeling—forgiveness.

The Brooklyn native has indeed made amends, befriending Holyfield, and forging a genuine bond with the man who bested him—a bond that allows them to laugh off those chaotic days together when they were young. However, as the legends grow closer, Mike Tyson’s daughter, Milan Tyson – yep, one of the kids he ‘raised’ has thrown a sassy warning towards the now older men.

Mike Tyson’s daughter with a hilarious quip

On Sunday, the 58-year-old took to his Instagram to upload a few pictures with his rival turned friend. The four photos, behind-the-scenes shots from their Fireman Sports gig, captured the pair cracking up, with Tyson even tossing a playful hug Holyfield’s way. He captioned the picture, “Nice we can laugh about the past and enjoy the present,” indicating that the old grudge is all dead and buried.

The Real Deal also echoed his opinion, dropping in a simple, “Good time .” However, it was Tyson’s 17-year-old daughter who stole the show with just two words as she commented, “Be careful!” leaving everyone guessing.

Whether this warning was for her father or for Holyfield, no one knows. But for the sake of the story, we will assume it is for the latter. Though their friendship is a heartwarming twist, fans can’t help but ponder the trilogy that never was—quite possibly the greatest what-if in boxing history. Still, life goes on, and Evander Holyfield, at least, seems to have turned the page.

Evander Holyfield has found something far more significant

For years, the Alabama native, much like the fans, couldn’t shake the dream of a third showdown with Mike Tyson. A longing that only intensified as he watched Tyson and rival Oliver McCall stage their own comebacks. It didn’t take much time for the rumors to float on social media, as both Tyson and Holyfield had to intervene.

While the 58-year-old told Ariel Helwani that he is planning to fight even after Jake Paul‘s clash, he had a different tune for his former rival. “I love you, brother, but the trilogy is our friendship,” he said. The 62-year-old doubled down on the sentiment, declaring their bond is far more important than a trilogy. “Mike’s right—the trilogy is our friendship and respect,” he stated in one of his social media posts.

From the years they fought in amateurs, to the infamous brawl and now to a deep friendship, the duo has grown together—wiser and happier. It’s a journey that’s not only earned them respect but cemented their status as cherished icons in boxing.
