Better get your popcorn ready because the LeBron James – Stephen A. Smith beef is starting to heat up. After the Lakers star appeared on The Pat McAfee Show and addressed his viral on-court confrontation with the ESPN analyst, Stephen A. jumped on his podcast and responded with some serious accusations, “I want to say for the record, LeBron James is full of it. And in this particular instance as it pertains to his son, he is a liar.”
Smith also addressed how he would have reacted had the confrontation turned physical, “I would have gotten my a– kicked because if that man put his hands on me, I would have immediately swung on him. That I’m not gonna tolerate.” Yes, the media veteran claims he would not have hesitated in throwing hands at LeBron in case of a fight. But it looks like four-time champ isn’t buying Stephen A.’s threat.
In a nasty response, LeBron put the ESPN analyst in his place with his latest Instagram post. The post contains two videos. First – Stephen A. boxing with a trainer, throwing awkward left and right jabs. The second – a hilarious ‘Whomp Whomp’ meme. LBJ captioned it, “ WHOMP WHOMP WHOMPPPPPPPP.” Adding insult to injury, LeBron’s running mate, Luka Doncic liked the post just minutes after it was published. It’s clear whose side the Slovenian Star is taking in this seemingly lopsided beef.
