Los Angeles has been eerily quiet today, with NBA fans holding their breath for the looming showdown against their Western rivals, the Thunder. All eyes are on LeBron James and the team as they battle to lock down the third spot in the West. But OKC is no easy opponent. The game is intense, and so is the drama. And LeBron, as always, was seen pulling his usual antics, but this time, helping his case, it kind of backfired.
As LeBron drove to the basket, three OKC players closed in. There was contact, and soon he was on the floor. He was certain it was a foul, even calling it out himself. The game officials seemed to agree at first. But after the review, the call was reversed. What appeared to be a foul initially was overturned. Surprisingly, it was LeBron’s complaints to the referee that seemingly added fuel to the fire. Rather helped in taking the final call.
