At the time, The Bad Guardian star was a VJ, while Kelly Rowland was part of the group Destiny’s Child alongside Beyonce. So, when the singer-turned-artist celebrated her recent milestone, La La was simply stunned, and she wasn’t alone.
Rowland added the post, “Well here we are, 44.” La La Anthony shared the photo in her story and first wrote, “Wooowww!!!!” She also dropped another message. “Screaming Happy Birthday to my best friend @kellyrowland I need a minute to gather myself after these pics just dropped!!! OMG.” Being best friends since their teenage years, just adding a message to the story felt incomplete.
It was when Destiny’s Child was really in the beginning stages. They came to promote the show in Atlanta. The BMF star was also new to her radio show and was sixteen at the time. Since then, both of them have forged successful paths and seem to support each other strongly. So Kiyan Anthony’s mother even added a comment to the post.

Even last year’s birthday message signified the important role Rowland played. “You always look out for everyone, your heart is unmatched AND you always make sure my makeup brushes are clean & I take my makeup off at night! I love you! Get to NYC so we can celebrate .” Thanks to that advice, La La Anthony explained how she became more aware and it was a turning point in her life.
The Chi star also highlighted that Rowland does things that nourish the mind, body, and soul.
