Justin Thomas Delivers Worrying Tiger Woods Comeback News After Checking Up on Recovering Golfer

Injuries have had a long relationship with Tiger Woods. It started long back in 1994 when the 18-year-old Woods needed surgery on his left knee to remove two benign tumors and scar tissues. Sadly, that wasn’t the end of it. In the years following that first injury, he faced many others, eventually dealing with his first Achilles tendon injury in 2008. Despite that, Woods maintained a positive attitude and slammed any negative thoughts with his 2012 message: “Guys, I’ve done this before. I’ve been through this.” But we are in the 2025 season, and Woods doesn’t seem as active on the greens. And the truth is: Tiger Woods isn’t as young.

Recently, Woods has been dealing with another Achilles injury. Although the surgery was successful, popular names in the golf world are unsure about a solid return. Justin Thomas sat down for a press conference for the Valspar Championship. Eventually, the conversation reached Tiger Woods. So, has Thomas been in touch with the GOAT since his injury announcement? Thomas answers positively. “Of course, injuries are a bummer and it’s a tough recovery, but unfortunately, he’s been through a lot of ’em and had his fair share of injuries, but all of us will be there for him and support him when we need to.”

But the fans are eager to hear more than that. Has Tiger Woods given any hint about how bad it is? Thomas shakes his head. “No, no, I mean that’s between him, kind of thing.” Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time we have received a negative reply to this question. Just a few days ago, Paul Gow sat down for an interview and he seemed to echo similar sentiments.

This is a developing story…
