Dana White and Co. have given us some memorable moments with UFC events in the United Kingdom. As such, UFC Fight Night 255 in London gave us another memorable moment with popular soccer manager Jose Mourinho was in attendance at the O2 Arena, and guess what? Fans had a field day on social media after the former Chelsea boss dropped a famous one-liner.
As a UFC media personnel found Jose Mourinho amongst the crowd, he went on to ask Jose Mourinho about his thoughts on the main event. Who does he think will win – Leon Edwards or Sean Brady? Well, Mourinho simply said, “I think if I speak, I’m in trouble.” For the unversed, the popular soccer manager is known for that particular one-liner, which he first stayed in 2014.
Well, it did not take much time for fans to chime and share their reactions, with one fan finding it hard to believe that he saw Jose Mourinho attending a UFC event. With a bit of confusion, he stated, “What is he doing here?” While this fan appeared surprised, another seemed pretty happy to see the former Champions League-winning manager sneaking in his catchphrase, as he commented, “Classic jose.” Well, now that Mourinho is in the UFC, fans want to see him fight another legendary soccer manager, Arsene Wenger, known for his time as the boss of Arsenal FC. “Jose v Wenger, book it Dana.”
It seems unlikely that Dana White would entertain such ‘gimmick’ fights.
