Joey Bosa just hit the free agency jackpot, but not in the way his mom, Cheryl Bosa, was hoping for. The former Chargers defensive end is packing his bags for Buffalo after agreeing to a one-year, $12.6 million deal with the Bills. That’s a pretty sweet payday, especially considering the 49ers and Dolphins tried luring him with way less. San Francisco reportedly offered under $10 million, while Miami didn’t even crack $8 million.
Offers to EDGE Joey Bosa, per @MikeSilver:
49ers – less than $10M
Dolphins – less than $8M

But let’s talk about Cheryl for a second. Just a few days ago, she was practically manifesting a Bosa Brothers reunion in San Francisco. She even took to social media in full-on campaign mode. “BREAKING NEWS: Can we get a petition going on bringing the @JBBigBear to the Bay? #BosaBrothers @nbsmallerbear @cherylbosa.“
Well, Joey saw the petition… and said, ‘Nah, I’m good.’ Instead of teaming up with little bro Nick Bosa on the 49ers’ stacked defense, he chose the cold, hard cash (and just plain cold) of Buffalo.
This is a developing story. Stay tuned…
