Joe Rogan couldn’t keep calm after watching such a phenomenal knockout. Dominick Reyes just dropped Nikita Krylov with a huge left hook in the very first round of their bout. But the uncanny similarity that the act had with Conor McGregor’s KO win over Jose Aldo left the commentary table in even more shock.
Soon after the KO, Daniel Cormier pointed out that it was just like the time when Conor McGregor knocked Jose Aldo with his iconic left hook. Just like Aldo, Krylov dropped down unconscious, and Reyes exploited the opening to end it all with a few hits on the ground. Rogan couldn’t help himself from saying, “Ladies and gentlemen, Dominick Reyes is back! It’s just like Conor McGregor Jose Aldo… Beautiful.”
But ‘The Devastator’ was up for more. In the post-fight interview, he claimed, “I’m not back, I’m better.” Needless to say, these were the words that the entire world was waiting for. Following the 4-fight losing spree, Reyes went on 2 back-to-back KO wins before entering UFC 314. And in just 2 minutes and 24 seconds into the fight, he dropped Krylov with a strong left hook. Reyes and his team clicked a picture with a flabbergasted Joe Rogan. And then, after he claimed that he was up for a title shot after one more win, the crowd went berserk as he performed the iconic golf move to Trump’s acknowledging smile.
