Let bygones be bygones. Or did better sense prevail? Perhaps realizing the futility of continuing their beef, both Joe Rogan and Oscar De La Hoya appear to have extended an olive branch. If De La Hoya’s latest Instagram Story is anything to go by, the two exchanged private messages that hint at a possible reconciliation and even a future appearance on Rogan’s iconic podcast, ‘The Joe Rogan Experience.’ The show, where Rogan has hit milestone after milestone, remains one of the most-streamed platforms globally.
Meanwhile, De La Hoya found success with ‘Thursday Clap Back,’ which has been steadily gaining traction in the boxing media space. Still, there’s been some lingering tension, especially on De La Hoya’s end. It seems he had long wanted to appear on ‘JRE,’ possibly to clear the air. In the past, Rogan had taken a few verbal jabs at him, sparking a back-and-forth. But now, judging by the direct messages De La Hoya revealed, those acrimonious vibes may finally be behind them.
In the screenshot shared on De La Hoya’s Instagram Story, Rogan is seen apologizing if he had offended the boxing legend. “I’ve talked about you many times on the show, and I wish the conversation had steered more to you fighting, of which I was a huge fan,” he wrote.

The ‘JRE’ host added, “We were talking sh*t. And in response to the older text I missed, sure, I’d love to have you on my podcast.” And how did the Olympic gold medalist respond?
