Jimmy Butler will be back by the time the Golden State Warriors hit the floor on Friday. Traveling miles away from the Bay to Dubai, the 35-year-old is relishing the All-Star break in style. However, he’s not moving away from his ultimate goal as an NBA player. And guess what that might be? Of course, the championship, the shiny ring he’s been waiting for, for years. And now, as a Warrior, his desires might turn into reality as long as there’s Draymond Green and Stephen Curry by his side.
But, moving from the East to the West has been taxing on Jimmy’s pockets. Particularly in California, where the taxes can truly give you blisters, Butler is adjusting. Thus speaking to Virgin Radio Dubai, the veteran power forward said: “My pockets are going to feel it from the taxes… But I’m so happy over there. Organization [GSW] is top-notch. I get to play with Steph, I’m a fan of him, just like 99.9% of the world.”
However, Jimmy Butler had more words for Draymond Green. They share a common dream, and that is to win a championship. Green has four, but he chases a fifth. Meanwhile, Butler is chasing his first. So, he said: “A chance of winning the championship, what more can I ask for? And Draymond’s on the team.” They get along very well, Butler further says that Dray is the “best.” He noted: “You don’t realize how great he is until you actually get on his team. And how smart he is. He’ll do anything to win and I respect that the most out of anything. It’s about winning all the time with that dude, and I’m learning.”
“I get to play with Steph. Obviously, I’m a fan of him, just like 99.9% of the world… Me and Draymond get along quite well. We play a lot of dominoes; he’s the best.”
“When I get the trophy and my ring, I’ll be back here.”

Besides, Butler credits Butler for bringing back the Warriors’ fire in the league. So, simply put, the two veteran hoopsters of the NBA are fitting in together, harmonizing, and defying all the odds being thrown at them. Most importantly, Jimmy Butler isn’t losing his faith, and he is keeping his championship dreams alive.
Meanwhile, there is another dream, that the 35-year-old superstar has. And that is expansion. Well, not the NBA’s expansion, that’s a topic for later discussions. But for now, it’s his coffee brand Big Face looking to dive deeper into the global market.
