According to Senior NFL writer at Boston, Ben Volin, shared a statement of Jeffrey Lurie on the rumors of him interested in buying the Celtics. The owner said, “I would never say never, but I’m not looking to own another sports franchise. The Celtics again are exceptional, they’re so well run, they’re so talented, it’s my childhood team. However, I do not expect that to happen.”
Well, it seems Jeffrey Lurie isn’t that sure about buying Celtics, but he is surely interested in buying another sports franchise. So, will it be the basketball team Boston Celtics? Till now, no official news has been revealed yet. In addition, it’s still under doubt whether the current owners, a group led by Wyc Grousbeck, of the $6 billion Celtics, will be interested in the offer or not.
