It seems like the one who has the confidence of experts is the youngest fighter in the family, Jake Paul. But why? Well, that’s because ‘The Problem Child’ has a major motive behind the fight, according to the 47-year-old. In fact, it also makes him uncomfortable about it all.
Taking to his YouTube channel, Chael Sonnen revealed that money isn’t the only motivation for Jake Paul to get into this fight against ‘The Maverick.’ Instead, the fight will be a lot more personal. The personal angle is why he does not want the duo to exchange blows. “I want to enjoy it, but the things that Jake Paul brings to the table, the things that Logan Paul brings to the table, it makes me a little uncomfortable.” But what is this hidden motive? Well, according to the UFC veteran, Jake Paul wants to earn credit as the bigger star between the two; however, the elder Paul simply wouldn’t give him that.
Chael Sonnen said that the two brothers took combat sports together; they “moved the coffee table” like brothers, and he has never seen two brothers that have thrived quite as well for quite as long. However, soon Jake Paul became the bigger star. “At some point, this became little brother’s thing. Little brother became a promoter. Little brother broke into Netflix. Little brother beat Mike Tyson. Little brother sold out an arena against Nate Diaz. Little brother is going to want his credit, and big brother’s not willing to give it to him.”
So, despite the UFC veteran not wanting them to compete as he claimed in the video, Chael Sonnen also believes that there are times when you have to fight for your rights. This is the perfect opportunity for Jake Paul to prove that he has become the better combatant between the two. However, it is also worth noting that the alleged might not even be a real thing, and Sonnen won’t have to see Jake Paul going against his elder brother Logan Paul at all.

Through their social media, the Paul brothers have revealed that they will be the protagonists of a new reality show that will premiere on Max on March 27. “The most controversial family in America just landed a reality series @PaulAmericanMax premieres Thursday, March 27 on @StreamOnMax,” Jake Paul wrote. So, it looks like the fake narrative of a boxing fight was set just to create enough buzz to finally launch the reality show.
