Lamar Odom’s emotional reunion with Khloe Kardashian in the season six premiere of The Kardashians has definitely captured attention. After nearly a decade apart, the two were seen face-to-face once again in a heart-wrenching moment that quickly became the talk of the town. Their encounter, which marked the first since their 2016 divorce, took a surprising turn when Lamar confessed, “I love you.”

As Khloe navigated the conversation, it was clear that the past still weighed heavily on both of them. “I can see Lamar’s having such a hard time speaking. And I understand. We have been through so much,” Khloe shared. Lamar, with a hint of disbelief, asked her, “Took you to a lot, huh?” Khloe’s reply was straightforward, “Yes. You can’t say that was the easiest time.”

Lamar, however, acknowledging his past struggles, confessed, “Yeah, I’m fu-ked up…with you. I love you for trying your hardest with me, man.” His vulnerability was apparent as he added, “Man, I don’t think that love; I don’t think it’ll ever go away. I know it won’t.”

Not only that during the show, Lamar Odom, also called Khloe “my wife” when she returned some of his belongings. With a smile, he added, “My wife is the s–t.” Khloe’s reaction was a quick laugh, brushing it off with, “OK. Calm down.”

In a confessional, Khloe admitted to feeling emotionally detached, reflecting, “I don’t have a lot of emotions for this meeting… Words are empty.” It was clear that while the love might have been there once, the pain of their past was something she had long worked through. However, recently Khloe recently expressed she would like to take another shot at love.

Is Khloe Kardashian finally ready for love again?

It looks like Khloe Kardashian is opening her heart to the idea of love again. The reality star is determined to step back into the dating world—even if it’s just one date. Reflecting on her past relationships with Lamar Odom and Tristan Thompson, she admitted she’s “praying” for love but isn’t rushing into anything. “It can’t be over for me yet,” she shared on The Kardashians. While she’s not expecting a whirlwind romance overnight, she made one promise: “At some point during my 40s, I will have gone on at least one date.”

Her family couldn’t agree more. Kim and Kris Jenner rallied around her, encouraging her to embrace this new chapter. “This is gonna be your decade,” Kris told her. And Khloe is all in. “I already know, I’m claiming it,” she declared. Getting older doesn’t bother her—in fact, she finds it freeing. “Cause you just don’t care about what people think about you.”

Despite her optimism, Khloe admitted she still craves something deeper. “My next chapter is: I wanna find a forever partner,” she shared in a confessional. But first, she’s focused on letting go of anything that no longer serves her.

That’s a big shift from her earlier stance. Previously, she insisted dating wasn’t on her radar. “I don’t care about dating,” she said on Khloe in Wonderland, emphasizing her priority was her kids. But now? It seems like she’s finally moved on from Lamar and is ready to take a chance on love again.
