Following Augusta, The RBC Heritage brings golf, live music, and Lowcountry vibes to Hilton Head, serving up thrills and coastal flavor post-Masters. The golfers, to end their remorse over the Augusta National, will join the 56-year-old traditional Lowcountry hospitality and family-friendly fun event at the Harbour Town Golf Links. Last year, Scottie Scheffler won the RBC Heritage with a 3-under 68 and a total score of 19-under 265, etching his name in history by winning the Masters and RBC Heritage after 39 years! Before him, the last player to achieve this elusive double was Bernhard Langer in 1985.
However, for this season, teeing off from April 14th to 20th, it will not feature the Green Jacket winner of the 2025 season. Rory McIlroy, with his limited presence on the course, will be missing out after the historic win at the Augusta National and securing his career Grand Slam. But despite that, the roster having prominent names makes it not a miss event. Even if the fans are missing the opportunity to be at the course, they can easily tune into the live action the entire week at the RBC Heritage. Similar to last year, fans can watch on Paramount+, Peacock, and PGA Tour Live on ESPN+.
RBC Heritage schedule
Starting, the golfers will spend some time warming up and adapting to the course conditions. On 14 and 15 April, the golfers will be seen practicing at the course from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. After concluding the practice round, the festivities officially tee off Tuesday at noon with a vibrant opening ceremony on the iconic 18th green, when Plaid Nation bursts to life with bagpipes blaring. With the official start to the event on Wednesday, the RBC Heritage Pro-Am will tee off at 7:00 AM ET from the 1st and 10th tee.
After the practice rounds and pro-am, on Thursday, it’ll be time for the first round. Starting at the 1st and 10th tees, the morning group will be in action from 7:20 AM- 9:00 AM, while the afternoon groups will begin from 11:50 AM- 1:30 PM ET. The OWGR leaders, including Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa, Sahith Theegala, and many others, we are set to watch some of the best talents.
After completing the first wholesome round with top golfers, the second day of the event will begin at 7:20 AM to 9:00 AM and then from 11:50 AM to 1:30 PM. This will be the decider for players who will make the cut for the third round of the $20 million purse event.
Schedule for the weekend
The third round will begin at 8:30 AM from the 1st Tee and will continue till 1:30 PM. Between the hours of 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Plaid Nation Day activities will take place at the Heritage Lawn. Get ready to witness fans flood the RBC Heritage in a sea of plaid, chasing prizes, playing games, and jamming to live tunes. It’s part Highland carnival, part Southern charm, wrapped in kilts and cheers. From putting contests to a plaid-packed 5K, this day swings with spirit and style!
The three days of exciting action will bring us to the final day, which will decide the champion of the RBC Heritage. The tee times for the event are the same as on Saturday, which are 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Well, with 43 of the top 50 players participating this year, it isn’t going to be an easy victory to grab. Golfers have already shown their great form preparing for the Masters, and now, with the remorse, it might offer the best action at Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
Additionally, the golfers, including Ludvig Aberg, who won the Genesis Invitational, Brian Campbell, winner of the Mexico Open, and Russell Henley, from the top spot of the Arnold Palmer Invitational, will be making their move toward the season’s second victory. But will they be able to do it, or will the OWGR leader aiming for the season’s first victory take the charge? There are too many potential winners for this one!
