In his 7 appearances in 2025, Burmester missed only one cut at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic. His top finishes were at LIV Golf Hong Kong (2) followed by LIV Golf Riyadh (T4). Additionally, he is ranked fifth in the LIV Golf standings. If his last year’s performance is anything to go by, he will likely give Sergio Garcia another tough competition.

Another strong player is Phil Mickelson. Mickelson finished 47 at last year’s Miami event, but he is looking good this season. In his three starts, the golfer made his best finish in Hong Kong (3). His next best finish? It came in Singapore with T19. Jon Rahm is doing just as well this season. Although he missed the cut at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, he brought his best game forward in Adelaide (5). He followed it with strong performances in Hong Kong (T6) and Singapore (T5).
