From humble beginnings, the Founders Cup has really come into its own as a big-league tournament. Now, Bradenton’s own Nelly Korda headlines an all-star lineup that includes Lydia Ko, Hannah Green, and Jin Young Ko. Season openers such as Madelene Sagstrom, Stacy Lewis, and Georgia Hall are too in the stellar leaderboard. Interestingly, Lexi Thompson and Brittany Lincicome, are back in the mix after announcing their retirement from pro golf.

Having journeyed from Arizona to New Jersey to Florida, this event now carries a $2 million purse and is presented by the U.S. Virgin Islands. Earlier in the Tour, Lim Kim had bested Nelly Korda at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions. With the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings No. 1 gearing up for a comeback after a setback in the season opener, it’s time to get excited—so, where will you tune in?

As the event unfolds, we could be seeing Nelly Korda not dwelling on her season-opening loss to fuel a strong return at the Founders Cup. Let’s see what makes her exceptional at the event.

Who are the promising pros at the Founders Cup 2025?

The 2025 Founders Cup is shaping up to be a thrilling showdown, with several heavy hitters in the mix. Jin Young Ko, a three-time Founders Cup champion, brings her A-game to the table, having sealed her last win in the 2023 Founders Cup with a nail-biting extra-hole victory over defending champion Minjee Lee. She’s one to watch, for sure. Stacy Lewis, with 13 LPGA victories and 118 top-10 finishes, is a seasoned veteran who cannot be overlooked.

Plus, the tournament just got more fierce with Charley Hull joining. Hull will be aiming for her first title of the season as her last win was in the LET event in 2024. Not far behind, Lydia Ko is poised too, though looking back, Nelly Korda had once again proved her mettle when she defeated Ko in a two-hole sudden-death playoff to win the LPGA Drive On Championship at Bradenton Country Club. Coming back to this season, the course native had started the year solid, here’s a look-
