Just like all things in life, the NY Giants are finally doing what they need to do. Sorting out the quarterback position. They are putting a simple life formula into perspective. Solve the biggest problem, and smaller ones will take care of themselves. In the sport of football, it’s the signal caller. When Daniel Jones quit on them, they finished 30th in the league. They chose to have a better this time. And they have made a mark by going for out of the blue candidate. It’s not Russell Wilson, Aaron Rodgers, Joe Flacco. But a younger one!
Just yesterday, The Athletic’s Diana Russini claimed that the Giants will choose one between Wilson or Flacco. That will not happen. According to the FOX’s Jordan Schultz, the franchise has reached a 2-year $8 million agreement with ex-Browns QB Jameis Winston. Add up the incentives and it jumps to $16 million.

Last month, he traveled to New Orleans, and took up a special job as a reporter to cover the event. As expected, he wanted to play in the league. His wish has been granted. Winston visited the facility a few days back. As a backup, he is a much better, reliable option than Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson.
The reason? It’s simple, the age factor! A-rod is 41, Russ is 36, and Winston is only 31. In the league where athleticism matters, that’s a huge difference. And he also showed with his performance last season that he can carry the O-line. In the week 13 matchup against Broncos, he recorded 497 passing yards. That’s Midas touch right there.
Amid this revelation, A-rod also visited the Steelers, meeting with the HC Mike Tomlin. So, things look promising on that end as well.
Stay tuned! There’s more to this story.
