Giannis Antetokounmpo just added an interesting footnote to Google’s massive “Made by Google” event on August 20. In a new sponsored post, the Greek Freak showed up at McLaren HQ, vibing with Formula 1 star Lando Norris, one of Jimmy Butler’s high-profile pals. For NBA fans, this crossover is wild: Giannis is hanging with Jimmy’s circle.
Giannis dropped the teaser on Instagram: “#Sponsored Make sure to tune into #MadeByGoogle on August 20th to see what we’ve been cooking up. You won’t want to miss it! #GooglePixel.” The clip shows Lando and Giannis sharing time on set.
“Hi everyone, I’ve had a super fun day with Google Pixel alongside one of my favorite basketballers,” Lando says. “I wish I could show you more, but I’m literally not allowed.”
A woman on set asks the two to stand side-by-side. “I want to just go back to back.” Lando laughs, “But this is just doing me dirty.” Giannis towers over him, adding, “Guys, this is Giannis Antetokounmpo. I’m here at McLaren with Google. Oh man, no way. I got it.”
Lando signs off: “Make sure to see the Made by Google event on August the 20th. See you soon.”
