The Colts‘ QB situation? Yeah, it’s still struggling. Anthony Richardson was supposed to be the guy, but nope, injuries had other plans. Now that free agency is here, the team’s looking for a veteran signal-caller. And looks like they just landed a deal with the former Giants’ QB.
On Tuesday, the Colts are signing Daniel Jones on a one-year $14M contract worth up to $17.7M, as per the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. The contract terms also include $13.15M fully guaranteed. Guess who’s the happiest guy right about now? Of course, it’s Pat McAfee. Right after Jones signing a deal with the Colts hit the headlines, McAfee took to his official ‘X’ handle and straight up admitted his excitement.
“HOLY SHIT. WE GOT OUR GUY,” he wrote in his post.
