The Warriors just wrapped up their regular season with a 124-119 overtime loss to the LA Clippers in a game that felt more like late April than mid-April. It was intense, with Star players shining, tightened rotations, and just enough drama to remind you, “Yeah, the Play-In is right around the corner.”
Play-In, not the Playoffs for Warriors? After this loss, it’s official. The Warriors will enter the Play-In tournament as the 7th seed in the Western Conference.
But beyond the final score and the unfortunate outcome for the Warriors, two health updates took center stage. One is potentially alarming, while the other is a lot more reassuring.
Let’s start with the Bad one, Jimmy Butler. he was his usual self for most of the night dropping 30 points 9 assists, and 1 rebound. But towards the end of the game, Butler was seen limping. And when asked about it during the post-game interview Steve Kerr replied “It was his quad. I think he got a, like, a knee in the quad, but he said he’s okay.”
