FOX’s Tom Brady and Kevin Burkhardt’s Strong Stance on Refs Decision as Nick Sirianni Goes Off on Officials

2 min read

Controversial call again? The Super Bowl LIX is here! However, the start of the game stirred a nationwide outrage among many NFL fans, including Tom Brady, who is calling an SB game for the first time. The reason? The refs have once again given ammunition to critics who accuse them of favoring the Kansas City Chiefs.

During the first quarter, with the clock 11:41, Philadelphia Eagles’ WR AJ Brown was called for offensive pass interference. This call from the refs didn’t suit well with many, including FOX’s color commentators, Tom Brady and Kevin Burkhardt.

The NFL legend could be heard saying, “don’t like that one bit” from the suite, while Burkhardt too supported his stance. Brady further expressed, “Oh, don’t like that one bit. This is too critical of a game…Let the players play. It should be decided on the field. Don’t like that call to start the game.

Nevertheless, as a result of this controversial call, the possession turned over to the Chiefs after the Eagles chose to punt on their second attempt at a fourth down play.

Nick Sirianni too was seen melting down on the sidelines. Being frustrated, he could be heard saying “that’s terrible” to ref Ron Tolbert after the OPI call on AJ Brown. Narratives, narratives!
