One of the biggest stories that broke out after Donald Trump‘s second presidential inauguration ceremony surrounded tech billionaire Elon Musk. While giving his speech at the US Capitol building, the Tesla CEO happened to wave his hand out in enthusiasm, which appeared to many people as a Nazi salute. Well, Musk finally opened up about the whole fiasco to Joe Rogan, and he couldn’t believe what had happened.
Elon Musk, being a supporter of Donald Trump, claims to have been overjoyed with the way people responded to the elections and that’s where the controversial hand gesture took shape. Hence, the billionaire was taken aback by the response and the drama that ensued in the media and on the internet regarding his hand gesture.
“It was obviously meant in the most positive spirit possible… Now, I can never point at things diagonally. I can only point at things there and there, and then I say you have to divide that because that’s where the spaceship is, over there. That’s ridiculous,” Musk told Joe Rogan on the #2281 JRE episode.
Having health with so many controversies in the past, the South African-born tech mogul didn’t hesitate to claim that all the noise is just a big conspiracy. “It’s deliberate propaganda… It was obviously not meant in a negative way. I literally said, ‘My heart goes out to you,’ and it was very positive,” Elon Musk added.

Joe Rogan seemed to agree with Elon Musk because he’s been in his fair share of controversies in the world. Moreover, the 57-year-old even claimed to have gone through a similar experience to that of the Tesla CEO. Here’s what the UFC color commentator had to say.
Joe Rogan told Elon Musk that his images were misinterpreted as well
While discussing the controversy surrounding Elon Musk’s salute, both Joe Rogan and the billionaire found it humorous. It was then that Joe Rogan would open up about his experience of being called a ‘Nazi’. Apparently, there are several images of the 57-year-old on the internet where he was seen waving his hand in a manner similar to that of Musk’s recent act while he was hosting UFC events. Joe Rogan claims that it was a turbulent time for him when he was dealing with controversies that CNN picked up on his images, that looked like he was showcasing a salute and ran with it.
But guess what? It didn’t matter much to the 57-year-old, whose world-famous podcast is always under scrutiny. “CNN, when I was in all my trouble, every time CNN used a photo of me, it was one of the photos from the UFC weigh-ins, where I go like this, ‘Welcome to the weigh-ins [performs the salute],” Rogan told Elon Musk. “So every photo was me [laughs]… with [the salute]. It’s so crazy.” Do you believe it’s crazy, according to the UFC color commentator?
