Remember that line, “He’s a friend from work”, when Mighty Thor spotted Hulk in the arena? Yeah, this feels similar. Heat legends and longtime teammates Dwyane Wade and Udonis Haslem are teaming up again, but this time on a brand-new stage. Instead of battling for rebounds and buckets, they’ll join Amazon Prime’s NBA analyst panel for the network’s debut coverage this season.
Wade, standing just 6-foot-4, constantly battled Haslem in the paint for boards, and sometimes, those collisions got hilariously personal during games. Wade’s fearless aggression near the rim was a signature part of his game. And yep, it definitely annoyed Haslem at times. Now, years later, the two legends will reunite as broadcast teammates alongside Steve Nash and Candace Parker for Prime’s upcoming NBA lineup.
Both Wade and Haslem have already made names for themselves in TV, appearing on ESPN and launching their own popular online podcasts. This move feels like a natural fit for both, and thankfully, the duo didn’t waste any time sharing their excitement about it. Haslem shared a post on his Instagram story that featured the four faces of the broadcasting team. And he commented, “Looking forward to getting started @primevideo It’s just work!! @dwyanewade @candaceparker @stevenash”
But he wasn’t the first in the line, it was Dwyane Wade who took the first initiative. Wade also shared the same poster but 1 hour earlier than Haslem. And with a caption that said, “Back with the best teammates ever! @ud40 @candaceparker”
This is a developing story…
