Dwyane Wade Gears for Project with Carmelo Anthony & Chris Paul with Custom Luxury Truck Unveiling

It took something tragic to happen for us…,” Carmelo Anthony said. It all started in 2020, which was difficult for everyone. From businesses to companies, many were struggling, which forced not just Melo but every other person to think of ways to help and empower each other. His NBA friends, Dwyane Wade and Chris Paul, had the same concern. Together, they started the Social Change Fund United. Ever since it was founded, the organization has ensured to extend as much help as possible to people who need it the most. Me, Dwayne, CP—to really have a vision on what we wanted to do,” Melo added. And guess what? They’re doing it again with a new initiative! D-Wade just dropped the first look.

The 3x NBA champ has joined forces with RealTruck to create a one-of-a-kind luxury piece, a custom “Champions Edition” Ford F-250 Super Duty truck. This will serve a big purpose for the organization. It was first unveiled at the 2024 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, and now, it’s headed to the auction block, which will be held on April 26, 2025, at Barrett-Jackson in Palm Beach, Florida. And the details of the truck are just as large as its goal.

The brand just dropped a clip where an expert shows the exquisite details to Wade. The first highlight is the tailgate reading “Champions Edition.” “So, if you want this truck, you got to wake up everyday and feel like you a champion,” the Miami Heat champ said after seeing the unique design. A strong 6.2-liter V8 engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission power this giant. Moreover, the big 37-inch tires give it a rugged look. The tires feature 2008 Olympic Beijing-inspired floating center caps that pay homage to Wade’s celebrated career. Also, the AMP Research BedStep and Powerstep XL, ICI bumpers, and more features make it unique.

“We are thrilled to partner with an iconic talent like Dwyane Wade to bring this one-of-a-kind Champions Edition truck to life,” RealTruck’s Vice President of Marketing Lee Riser said earlier. The best part? All the proceeds from the truck’s auction are going straight to the Social Change Fund United (SCFU).

Not just this, the organization has also been working on another project after the devastating wildfires in January.

Carmelo Anthony opens up about a new initiative with Stackwell

The L.A. wildfires brought people together, helping each other to rebuild Hollywood. The NBA trio and SCFU have also stepped up to help small businesses that are struggling to restart. For the initiative, the trio joined hands with a FinTech platform, Stackwell, and the National Basketball Players Association to start a new program, Visionary Ventures.

The program will provide funding, training, and support to small businesses to help them grow stronger. It is part of SCFU’s larger mission to fight inequality. For this initiative, the program is using Stackwell’s technology to make the process more effective. Moreover, it ensures that help reaches the people who need it most.

Business owners are encouraged to apply by downloading the Stackwell app. Melo also spoke about the new initiative in his recent interview with Fast Company. “I just think it’s a very pivotal moment as we look at L.A. and those communities and try to help them rebuild, bringing more awareness to those wildfires and then providing support. Stackwell also has a proven track record—amazing with what they’re doing,” Melo said. Although with small steps, many are joining in on the cause.
