“Don’t Follow Him to Hell” – Controversial UFC Star Throws Shade at Elon Musk’s $8 Billion Dollar Innovation

5 min read

“Literally one of the dumbest human beings.” That’s how UFC CEO Dana White summed up Bryce Mitchell after his latest controversy. But what has the self-proclaimed flat-earther done now? Apparently, public education just doesn’t cut it but just as the dust was settling, he found a new villain to call out, Elon Musk. And his message?

Neuralink is “the mark of the beast.” Mitchell, who has a habit of diving headfirst into conspiracy theories, took to X to warn the world of Musk’s supposed demonic agenda. “Neuralink is gunna lead to the mark of the beast. Trust me, they’re gunna try to take cash away and chip u up.” ‘Thug Nasty’ posted, before ominously adding, “Elon Musk, I can’t wait til u get wats comin.”

And if it wasn’t enough, the featherweight quipped, “dont follow him to hell. repent. believe n Jesus, and ur all good. mortals can’t harm a man of God. dont fear these…” A totally normal take, right? Especially coming from a guy who thinks gravity is a hoax. But hey, at least he’s consistent!

This isn’t Mitchell’s first time stepping into the conspiracy ring. In 2020, he suggested that COVID-19 wasn’t just a virus but part of a grander scheme to shake things up. And in 2024, he proudly announced his decision to homeschool his child. Just to make sure he wasn’t influenced by certain ideologies. Now, in 2025, the $8 billion valued innovation has taken its turn in the Mitchell Conspiracy Theory Lottery.

The UFC brass, normally hesitant to interfere in fighters’ personal views, could only shake their heads at this latest outburst. UFC head honcho, never one to sugarcoat things, called Mitchell’s past comments “dumb and ignorant.” But whether this will impact his fighting career remains to be seen. For now, the featherweight contender is sticking to his belief that mortals can’t harm a “man of God”. And with his last fight ending in victory, maybe he’s got a point. Divine intervention? Or just a good game plan? Either way, his battle against the tech mogul is just getting started. So, what exactly is his latest innovation about?

Why can’t Bryce Mitchell stop ranting about this Boogeyman?

Bryce Mitchell takes plenty of hits to the head, but he’s more worried about what’s happening inside other people’s skulls. Enter Neuralink, the brain-chip company valued at $8 billion in 2024. Its goal? Merging AI with human cognition. If that sounds like a sci-fi nightmare, you’re not alone. Musk calls it a revolution. Critics see a disaster waiting to happen. Mitchell? He’s in full-blown doomsday mode.

Neuralink’s history is anything but clean. Ethical concerns, animal welfare violations, and shady oversight plague its progress. Reports claim that since 2018, over 1,500 animals. Monkeys, pigs, and sheep have died in testing. Not exactly reassuring for a device meant for human brains. Then, earlier this year, the controversy deepened. Twenty FDA employees reviewing Neuralink’s applications were fired in a federal workforce reduction, sparking concerns about regulatory oversight.

Musk, however, remains unfazed. If anyone knows how to sidestep scrutiny while keeping investors hooked, it’s him. Between Neuralink, SpaceX, and DOGE (Defense Operational Governance Entity), his empire seems to weave in and out of government reach. DOGE, an agency known for secretive funding and high-level tech contracts, has reportedly been linked to Musk’s ventures. Some see it as necessary. Others think it operates with all the transparency of a magic trick.

Then there’s Musk’s odd link to the fight world. UFC boss Dana White once hyped a Musk vs. Mark Zuckerberg cage match, but Musk ghosted the idea like a delayed Tesla car launch. White was all in, but Musk left the fight game behind, though his connection to combat sports still lingers.

On one side, you have Bryce Mitchell, a fighter whose conspiracy theories are more viral than his knockouts. On the other? Elon Musk, whose Neuralink project is either a breakthrough or, in Mitchell’s eyes, a straight shot to the underworld. Mitchell won’t let this go. Will the UFC step in, or let him rant? As long as he keeps winning (and selling fights), history suggests they’ll look the other way. So, what’s your take? Is Mitchell onto something, or is this another wild swing in his war against reality? Either way, the Octagon isn’t the only place he’s throwing haymakers.
